God Has a Purpose for Your Life!

“The LORD will fulfill [his purpose] for me; your love, O LORD, endures forever—” Psalm 138:8

I hope you enjoyed your “snow day” on Sunday, but I can’t wait to meet together this next Sunday, if I don’t see you before then.

Do you know WHY you are here?  WHAT you are supposed to accomplish?  And HOW to go about it?

Well, the good news is that God does! Like the verse above says, He has a purpose for you and for me! And He’s revealed His thoughts to us on these questions and many more through the Bible.

This Sunday, we are going to take a look at the account of the Tower of Babel which is recorded in Genesis chpt. 11, and use it as framework to discuss our purpose, our mission, and our vision.  What’s the difference between each of these?  Why do they matter?

I believe that the answers we’ll find to these questions from the Bible will not only radically affect our church corporately, but also impact our lives personally.  As we kick-off a new series this Sunday on Vision, I’m very excited to share what God’s been stirring my heart with lately related to all this!  (If you aren’t able to be there, that’s OK because we’ll be recording the messages and posting them on our website!)

Have a great week and don’t forget to check some of the important announcements below!

For His glory,

–Rich

Are you interested in getting baptized?  Do you have questions about it?  Join us on Sunday, February 4th after the service (11am) as we look at some verses from the New Testament about the purpose, meaning, and practicals related to obeying Jesus’ command to, “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them… and teaching them”  Matthew 28:19-20. (*Note – Lunch and childcare provided, so please reply to this email or signup at our literature table on Sunday if you are interested.)
